I'm downloading right now a Sony Xperia Z kernel, to see how they manage some things, they have no open source bootloader like I not have. U-Boot passes the kernel commandline to the kernel, but the kernel says no and uses his own kernel commandline, that feature would be awesome, and also /proc/config.zip is awesome too. But I heared about a chance to make the kernel command line like the kernel not changeable at all. Where the ramdisk must be somehow inside. The little problem is that the bootloader of course only accept. Btw the kernel control alot of things, like touchscreen, flatscreen output, HDMI graphic output!, Wifi broadcom chip, and alot of other things too. JTAG makes some visual stuff in assembly Which annoy you that crazy. I'll focus on the kernel, cause there are results which I can see and make me happy instead of this dark side like bootloader work. is the ucl algorithm, so the software isn't that big, I think the ucl compression algorithm is really big, the biggest possible would be 13 KBytes. If you look deeper with a hex editor inside the 00bootloader.img you can see that at 0x8000 is definitily the U-Boot binariy compressed, and infront of that from 0x0000 to 0x7. It makes no sence right now, to reverse engineer that beginner software. Developers Corner > Advanced Users Section
